Ingredients:
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
- 1/4 cup Dr Pepper soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red food coloring optional
- Crushed maraschino cherries optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Line an 8x8-inch 20x20-cm baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper, leaving a little extra on the sides to make it easy to take off
Put the white sugar, unsalted butter, and heavy cream in a large saucepan and set it over medium-low heat
Add the water and stir it around until it boils
Once it starts to boil, put in a candy thermometer and keep cooking without stirring until it reaches the soft-ball stage, which is 236F 113C
It should only take ten to fifteen minutes
Take the pan off the heat and add the marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, Dr
Pepper soda, and white chocolate chips right away
You can also add a few drops of red food coloring if you like
Mix until everything is smooth and well mixed
Pour the fudge mix into the baking pan that has been prepared
Use a spatula to smooth the top
If you want, you can decorate it with crushed maraschino cherries
Do not put the fudge in the fridge until it is set
Instead, let it cool at room temperature for a few hours
To get the fudge out of the pan once its hard, use the extra parchment paper or foil
Cut it into squares by putting it on a cutting board
Enjoy the Dr
Pepper fudge you made yourself Put any leftovers in a container that wont let air in
