Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mix-ins of your choice chocolate chips, chopped nuts, etc
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking pan with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar until well blended
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth and creamy
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in your chosen mix-ins to distribute them evenly in the batter
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs
Remove from the oven and allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack
Once cooled, cut into square or rectangular cookies
